Malcolm Hart

OCTRU Database Officer

As an OCTRU Database Officer, I work with the OCTRU programming team, triaging any problems raised by users, building electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) and helping to ensure that the IT systems used for clinical trials run smoothly and efficiently.

Before joining OCTRU in March 2018, I worked with CRM databases in the private sector for twelve years, and prior to that provided IT support services for Yale University's School of Medicine, the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London and Middlesex University's Department of Psychology. I have an MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Lancashire Polytechnic (now the University of Central Lancashire).
